The STIHL SH 56 is perfect for occasional users. This handheld shredder vacuum / blower has a specialized shredder blade on the fan wheel which reduces garden waste. It also converts easily into a handheld petrol leaf blower. Fitted with a semi-automatic choke and stop switch for smooth starts, this blower automatically resets to the starting position to help prevent accidental flooding.

STIHL 2-MIX reduced-emission engine technology

2-stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel-free layer of air is created between
the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the
crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results
in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than
regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.

Hand Operation

The controls for the motor are housed in the control handle. The ergonomically shaped handle with controls located on the center of the housing. The operation of the devices is easy and convenient, as the hand remains on the handle. The device can be worn on the right or left (similar) to taste.

Manual fuel pump

A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button.
This reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended

STIHL ElastoStart

STIHL ElastoStart reduces the shock caused by the compression of the engine
during starting. The compression shock is taken away from the user's joints and
muscles through a spring or rubber element in the starter handle.
