The new STIHL MS 241 C-M professional chain saw is compact, agile and raring to go, with M-Tronic as standard. Fuel metering is controlled electronically and automatically adjusts to environmental conditions, to deliver optimal engine performance. Other great features include: an easy to clean HD2 filter, new STIHL professional anti-vibration system, chain tensioner, 'patented' captive nuts on the chain sprocket cover, easy access quick-lock bayonet fittings on one-piece shroud and memory function.

STIHL M-Tronic (M) Fully electronic controlled ignition timing and fuel metering
system. The engine management STIHL M-Tronic (M) system ensures optimum
engine performance, constant maximum speed and excellent acceleration.
Manual carburetor adjustments are not necessary.

STIHL 2-MIX REDUCED-EMISSION ENGINE TECHNOLOGY :

2-stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel-free layer of air is created between
the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase,
reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power
with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines
and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.

Carburettor heating
By changing the chain saw from summer to winter operation, the intake air is pre-heated over the engine fins. This ensures that the carburettor does not ice up and you can continue working in freezing temperatures.

STIHL ELASTOSTART

STIHL ElastoStart reduces the shock caused by the compression of the engine
during starting. The compression shock is taken away from the user's joints and
muscles through a spring or rubber element in the starter handle.

Compensator

The STIHL compensator, a control system in the carburettor, ensures
that despite increasing pollution of the air filter engine performance, exhaust
quality and fuel consumption over a long period remain almost constant.
Only when a noticeable performance degradation occurs,
the air filter must be cleaned. So, very long working

HD2 FILTER :

The newly developed HD2 filter is made from polyethylene filter material with up to 70% finer pores than fleece and polyamide filters to trap even very fine dust. In addition, it is oil and water-repellent and thus very easy to clean. The PET-covered round filter cartridge with quick-release lock enables the filter to be assembled and disassembled in next to no time, without using tools

Ematic chain lubrication system
The Ematic chain lubrication system ensures pinpoint lubrication of the saw chain
links and guide bar rails. When used with STIHL OILOMATIC saw chain, it will provide maximum lubrication, longer wear and less oil consumption than conventional methods of chain lubrication. The Ematic system can reduce bar oil consumption by up to 50%

The tensioning screw can be found on the side of chain saw through the
sprocket cover. This removes the need for contact with the sharp saw chain.

Combined lever
Since M-Tronic cold and warm start electronically detects only a starting position at the combi-lever is needed. The exact amount of fuel is fed as required. You need to know anything about the status of your chainsaw and can immediately apply full throttle - even during cold start. Because the saw is warmed by optimum acceleration in a few seconds.
